TIP: Smaller Quantities in 2Lt Low Profile Jug of Vitamix E320
The 2Lt low-profile jug of the Vitamix E320 is designed to be shorter and wider at the base in order to better fit on most kitchen countertops. Because of the shape of the jug, it does require more ingredients than other jugs, making it tricky to blend smaller batches. When using this low profile jug, we recommend using at least 3-4 cups of ingredients in order to cover the blades and prevent splashing. Additionally, we recommend always starting with liquid first (enough to cover the blades) and further working your way up from soft to hard ingredients.
